Prolonging your battery Life

Here are a few simple things you can do to reduce the chance of your battery letting you down.
If your battery is over five years old and it is starting to struggle then it is time to get a new one. This will almost certainly turn out to be more convenient and cheaper then not being able to get the car started at home or work.
Are most of your journeys short ones or do you leave the car standing for long periods of time? Then give it a long run every now and again. This will recharge the battery for you.
When you park up check everything is switched off, that interior light can flatten a battery overnight.
